To confirm that postal addresses were actually entered into the OpenStreetMap database for an area of the map, the View->Layers->Show Postal Locations menu choice will enable or disable plotting dots at every postal address location in the OSM database on the current map. The addresses will be plotted in green if the country of the address is known, and in red if the country was not included and not inferred by the YAAC OSM Importer or post-import normalization tool.
If the map is zoomed out too far such that over 10,000,000 postal addresses could be found for the visible map, only the first 10 million will be plotted to avoid crashing YAAC from out-of-memory errors. You can use the postal address filter to limit the points plotted to user-selected conditions.
